Weekly bookings from Saturday to Saturday
Arrival 4pm onwards Depart by 10am

• Both cottages sleep 4+cot
• A small Z bed or mattress can be supplied should the youngest of three children be in a bed
  (there is a charge of £6.00 for the extra linen)
• Electricity is calculated by meter reading, read on arrival / departure. It runs on economy 7 and Standard Rate.
• The open plan lounge, dining and kitchen area,
  has been comfortably laid out.
  

Kitchen

• Automatic washing machine, (communal coin operated tumble dryer is situated in the indoor games room)
• Microwave,
• Electric cooker,
• Small fridge with freezerbox***
• Toaster
• Electric kettle
• Ample glasses, crockery and cutlery

• Tea towels and oven mits provided

Lounge

• Two and three seater settee in each cottage
• Colour television, dvd and video recorder, CD/cassette radio
• Two night storage heaters (economy 7)
• Log fires - logs and coal available at the local petrol station
• Carpet throughout
• Understairs cupboard contains high chair, hoover, iron and ironing board, washing basket, dustpan/brush, clothes airer, pegs and a torch

Dining area

• Comprising of table and 4 chairs

First floor

• A double bedroom and 2'6" wide bunk bedded room (3' in Swallow).
  All bedding supplied with beds made up - duvets.
• Cot linen available on request, although most people like to use their own
• Panel heaters in bedrooms (Standard Rate)
• Bathroom - bath only, with shower hose. Bath mats provided and 1 hand towel.
• Bath towels available for hire & £5 per person
• Emersion tank - Economy 7 & Standard Rate
• Fan heater in the bathroom
• Shaver socket and mirror above hand basin
• Airing cupboard

Porch

• Stable doors at the front lead into a large porch
• Some cacti and other plants enjoy the sun and appreciate a drop of water when its very hot!
• Ideal for shoes and boots etc
• There is a pretty walled area at the front which separates the cottages from the farmyard.
  

Yard / patio area

• A back door leads into the private, secure, enclosed back yard.
• Washing line
• Table and chairs with sun canopy
• Dustbin, ash bucket (emptied on a regular basis)

Swift cottage.

Entrance
There is parking for one or two cars at the front of the cottage beside the stone wall. It is clearly labelled Swift Cottage Parking. The front of Swallow Cottage is enclosed by a stone wall which has the entrance at the side of the cottage.

It is possible to park at the side by the porch to unload luggage, but preferable to park after this, at the front, as access may be required to the field near the cottage. The porch door has a step into the porch with a metal runner at its base. Once in the porch there is a small granite step into the cottage, which includes a wooden strip along the base of the door.

Downstairs
The cottage is open plan downstairs, with lounge, dining and kitchen areas all on the same level. Stairs to bedrooms and bathroom .There is one step onto a platform and the eleven steps up to the top where all the rooms are on the same level.

Back door.
Beside the kitchen area is a door leading into the back patio/garden. There is a wooden door strip on a granite step which takes you down to a level area then 3 steps up onto the patio. There is an exit from Swift patio at the side. (This is mainly used by the proprietors to empty the bins of Swift cottage)

Swallow Cottage

Entrance
There is parking for one or two cars at the front of the cottage beside the stone wall. It is clearly labelled Swallow Cottage Parking. The front of Swallow Cottage is enclosed by a stone wall. There is an incline, 40 inches wide, between two garden walls, up to the front garden and door of the porch. The porch door has a step into the porch with a metal runner at its base. Once in the porch there is a small granite step into the cottage, which includes a wooden strip

Downstairs
The cottage is open plan downstairs, with lounge, dining and kitchen areas all on the same level.

Stairs to bedrooms and bathroom
There is one step onto a platform and the eleven steps up to the top where all the roms are on the same level.

Back door.
Beside the kitchen area is a door leading into the back patio/garden. There is a wooden door strip on a granite step which takes you down to a level area then 3 steps up onto the patio. There is an exit from the patio which has two steps and a long slope down to the front walled in garden area. (This is mainly used by the proprietors to empty the bins of Swallow cottage)

• There is ample packing space in the yard outside your cottage
• Extra vehicles such as boats/trailers by prior arrangement please
• There is space for bicycles

Smoking
Please consider the next people who may be using the cottages after you and avoid smoking in the bedrooms.
It is preferred that any smoking is done outside the cottages.
